01 — The Problem

A Competitive Market, a Nuanced Program

Tulane’s accelerated BSN is built for a specific kind of prospective student — career changers and degree holders who are ready to pivot into nursing but need a program that’s both rigorous and navigable. The challenge wasn’t just awareness; it was clarity.

Prospective students needed to quickly understand what made the aBSN different — the 16-month timeline, the hybrid model, the hands-on simulation and clinical rotations — and then feel confident enough to take the next step toward application. In a crowded nursing education landscape, the program needed a campaign that could cut through and speak directly to the ambitions and anxieties of its audience.

Before any creative work began, we mapped the prospective student’s decision path — from first awareness of the program through to application. That journey informed both what we said and where we said it, ensuring every touchpoint moved people meaningfully forward.

As Creative Director, I established the campaign’s strategic tone and visual direction, guided the team through concept development and refinement, and led all client presentations with Tulane’s partners — translating their feedback into focused creative direction at each round.
